St. Beatus-Höhlen, Swiss Caves

End your adventure with a visit to the legendary St. Beatus Caves, perched above Lake Thun. After a scenic drive, arrive at this enchanting natural wonder where myth and geology meet. Follow the path past waterfalls and through lush forest to the cave entrance, where your self-guided journey begins. Inside, explore over a kilometer of illuminated tunnels, vast chambers, and underground waterfalls, all carved by nature over millions of years. Marvel at the fascinating rock formations and crystal-clear pools while learning about the legend of Saint Beatus, who is said to have defeated a dragon here. Outside, enjoy sweeping views of Lake Thun and the surrounding mountains.
